“I really liked Duncan,” she began.
“You haven’t seen the good sides of our relationship. It was definitely more good than bad in my eyes.
“We had a lot of fun together, you all saw our instant connection at the wedding. That was real.’
She also said that her appearance in the show’s final edit made her a “villain,” which was untrue.
Elsewhere in the chat, Alyssa blamed the experiment for creating tension in her relationship with Duncan.
She also admitted she was insecure and then blamed Duncan for leading her on.
“I think Duncan is a really great guy,” she continued.
“Unfortunately we’re just not a good match. And he sort of led me to believe that we would at least try things out in the real world. That’s why I was shocked that he said no [at the commitment ceremony].
“I think Duncan is a great guy, I’ve really fallen for him.”
Alyssa also responded to criticism from viewers about her constantly using “I have a kid” as an excuse for her bad behavior.

A fan asked her about the conditions she placed on any future relationship she might have with Duncan during filming, including the amount of time she was willing to spend with him.
“If you have a child and you’re not ready, at least for me, to introduce that child to your new partner, you’re short on time and have other priorities,” she explained.
Alyssa also admitted during the Q&A that she tried to escape the experiment, explaining that her infamous on-screen breakdown was due to a panic attack.
“When I was in the purple dress and stormed off the set, it was a panic attack. They completely edited that to make it look like I had a tantrum and I ran. They had a perfect opportunity to talk about anxiety and mental health. I was done, I was done.’
