Married At First Sight bride Eden Harper’s marriage was turned upside down on Tuesday after her husband Jayden Eynaud revealed a dark secret about his past.
As part of Confessions Week, the couple was asked to write letters to each other in which they opened up to reveal something personal.
Jayden, 26, admitted he was ‘really nervous about the task’ before sitting down with Eden to describe how he struck a sex pact with his ex after catching her cheating.
‘My ex-girlfriend cheated on me. She went on dinner dates, movie dates, and even had guys openly admit to me that they had slept with her,” he began.
“I told her I wanted to give her another chance, but I’m going to sleep with her best friend while she watches.”

Eden, 28, started crying as the professional kickboxer explained how one of his ex’s friends agreed to sleep with him just ‘a few days’ later.
“Do you regret that?” a visibly shaken Eden asked, to which Jayden replied, “I don’t regret it.”
Eden, who was single for three years before the show after her partner cheated on her with her best friend, said she found the confession ‘triggering’.

“I told her I was willing to give her another chance, but (that) I’m going to sleep with her best friend while she watches,” he said of his ex
“I feel like that’s so triggering for me because of my situation that you already know about… But yeah, I don’t really know what else to say. That’s me,’ she said.
Speaking to producers, Eden said she found Jayden’s laissez-faire response particularly disturbing.
‘The story was dirty and I didn’t like it at all, but he didn’t seem to regret it. That was the relevant part,” she complained.

Instead of discussing Jayden’s confession further, Eden told her husband to take a walk alone.
She later turned to fellow bride Sara Mesa for her thoughts on the confronting revelation.
Sara was equally shocked and told Eden that if her husband Tim Calwell had done something like that, she would be “out of here.”
“Jayden is not in my good books right now. I want to believe he’s a nice guy just based on the fact that he’s dating a friend of mine,” Sara admitted.
“But this experiment definitely speeds up the little bumps in the road that you’re supposed to have in a relationship.”
Eden later turned to fellow bride Sara Mesa (left) for her thoughts on the confronting revelation. Sara was equally shocked, telling Eden that if her husband Tim Calwell had done something like that, she would “be out of here.”
