Married At First Sight’s Richard Sauerman flaunts his biceps as the show’s ‘most mature groom’ enjoys a dip at Sydney’s Bronte Beach

Married At First Sight’s Richard Sauerman made his reality TV debut on Sunday night when he tied the knot with Andrea Thompson.

And last weekend the 62-year-old seemed to have the same confident energy when he was spotted taking a dip at Sydney’s Bronte Beach.

Richard was the epitome of vitality and strength as he emerged from the ocean after his refreshing swim.

The Sydney groom bared his huge biceps and muscular figure in navy blue shorts.

The beachside display followed Richard’s revelation that he and Andrea consummated their marriage during their honeymoon.

While the newlyweds played coy with the producers the next morning, it was their laughter that carried the day during their intimate encounters.

“Why on earth do you have to ask that?” she replied with a smile.

“No, nothing happened last night. We went to sleep.’

But when asked if anything happened that morning, a cheeky laugh all but confirmed their cheeky escapade.

It comes as Richard opened up about his unique position on the reality show known for pushing boundaries.

“It’s quite a big deal,” Richard told Ny Breaking Australia on Monday.

“I didn’t think I would be chosen for the experiment because, you know, I’m over 60,” he said.

Richard’s presence on MAFS has brought a new perspective to the show and shed light on the experiences and challenges of older people in the dating scene.

“I guess I have to make some pretty interesting points about older people and stuff, and dating,” he mused.

Despite his age, Richard has blended in with the rest of the cast, although he acknowledges that there is a ‘generation gap’ that naturally sets him apart.
