Married At First Sight UK’s Kasia London has shared the heartbreaking reason why she left her husband Kwame Badu, after she was praised by fans for leaving the show.
Kasia made the decision to stop the experiment, explaining that it was “all over” between the two of them.
And now on Friday, the London-based businesswoman, 36, has revealed the real reason she split from Kwame, 42, in a heartbreaking confession.

Speak with The sunKasia said, “I came on the experiment to find love and a man who would stand by my side through thick and thin. But as it turns out, the man selected for me would just keep my fingers crossed.
“I feel strongly about empowering plus-size women, so I would never accept his fat shameful antics.”
She added to the women watching at home: “I hope they saw a confident, strong woman who didn’t take nonsense from a man who is stuck with the idea that women should be slim.”

It comes after Thursday’s episode of Married At First Sight UK in which the couples entered the series’ final commitment ceremony.
Kasia made the decision to leave the experiment after noticing that things were “completely over” with her husband Kwame Badu, 42, – who initially hoped to stay in the process.
The decision was welcomed by fans, who took to Twitter to say they were “proud” of the company owner’s departure.

Discussing her current feelings towards her husband, Kasia explained that she “broke off” the relationship after a rocky week with a host family.
Despite the idea that each couple would visit each other’s homes, Kwame revealed that he didn’t like bringing his wife home, and instead showed Kasia his local park.
Things went from bad to worse when the couple went to Kasia’s house, where her sisters all told Kwame was not the man for her.

The decision received high praise from fans, who tweeted that they were “proud” of the company owner’s departure.
During the engagement ceremony that followed, she explained, “On every corner of my story. Kwame intervened and made a joke or whatever. He doesn’t know how much it really hit me. When that happened, I checked out. I’m the real b***h.’
Meanwhile, Kwame revealed that although the week was “tough,” he had the impression that he had won her family over with his charm – before he learned of their disapproval.
And as decision time rolled around, Kasia went on to say that there was “no relationship” between her and Kwame and proudly showed her notepad with ‘leave’ written on it.
A puzzled Kwame then stayed behind to hold up his own notepad, which read “stay” – and admitted he hoped to continue the relationship.

As the couple said goodbye, Kwame explained that he felt “blinded” and not expecting the departure, while Kasia did just the opposite because she felt “free”.
On Twitter, fans were quick to praise Kasia’s bold decision, as one person wrote, “In the end, I loved Kasia the most. The last woman in there unfortunately worked with the fakest man; come to be. Glad she chose to leave.”
‘Yes Kasia! Showing the UK how to be a strong independent woman and choose yourself over a relationship,” wrote another, while one fan simply wrote: “Proud of you.”
