Madonna ‘introduces boxer toyboy Joshua Popper, 29, to son Rocco Ritchie, 23, during her 65th birthday getaway in Lisbon’
Madonna spent her 65th birthday this weekend in Lisbon, Portugal, where she also took the opportunity to introduce her 29-year-old boyfriend Joshua Popper to her 23-year-old son, Rocco Ritchie.
Rocco, her eldest son with her ex-husband, filmmaker Guy Ritchie, was on a family outing with siblings Lourdes, 26, David Banda, 17, Mercy James, 17, and 10-year-old twins Stella and Estere, according to a report from The sun.
There is no word on how the introduction between Madonna’s friend and her eldest son went.
Madonna and Popper started dating earlier this year, first meeting after he trained her son David in the boxing ring.
However, just days earlier, the pop icon revealed that she almost died of a bacterial infection and had to be rushed to hospital.

The star wrote in her Instagram caption, “It’s great to be alive…..and great to be able to put on my dancing shoes and celebrate my birthday! I am so grateful. Thank you Lisbon and everyone who made this possible!’
The singer shared several new images and videos from her 65th birthday in Portugal.
One of the surprises in the fast-past clip that played to her song Vogue was a snapshot of her daughter Lourdes singing to her mother.
Lourdes wore a white dress and high heels with her long black hair down as she sang a tune.
The triumphant birthday messages came a day after Madonna announced the rescheduled dates for her Celebration Tour, following a health battle caused by a serious bacterial infection.
While she hasn’t shared exactly what the infection she was suffering from, she shared her gratitude shortly after she was released from hospital in late June.
‘I have felt your love. I am on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life,” she wrote.
And to celebrate her new life, Madonna Louise Ciccone shared a video on TikTok titled “Happy Birthday to me!” making the singer look younger than ever with a remarkably smooth face.
In true Madonna fashion, things got a little risqué as she lifted her arms to reveal a black lace bra and signature corset under a silk top.

Madonna toasted her 65th bash at an intimate dinner in Lisbon, Portugal — where she stayed between 2017 and 2020 — on Tuesday night as the clock struck midnight.
In a video shared on social media, the mother of six was seen dining with her friends and family while giving a short speech and declaring, “It’s great to be alive!”
According to The Portuguese newsthe artist will remain the coastal capital of Portugal until the weekend.
“She landed with about 30 friends from all over the world, in a normal plane because she’s an environmentalist. She gave up her private jet a few years ago,” revealed CMTV columnist Adriano Silva Martins.
The holiday hitmaker spends the night at Hotel Pestana Palace.
