And Madonna, 64, has given insight into her time in Kenya with the Samburu warriors as she took part in traditional rituals during her stay.

On Monday, on her Instagram Stories, the pop star showcased her adventure while sharing video clips and photos of herself immersed in the country’s lifestyle.

The Like A Virgin singer rang in 2023 in Malawi with her 17-year-old son David, 16-year-old daughter Mercy and 10-year-old twins Stelle and Estere.

David, Mercy, Stelle and Estere were all born in Malawi and later adopted by the Material Girl singer.

She also has two other children: Rocco, 22, from her previous marriage to Guy Ritchie and Lourdes León, 26, whom she shares with Carlos León.

In 2006, the Material Girl singer co-founded the non-profit organization Raising Malawi.

According to the charity’s mission statement, Raising Malawi is dedicated to helping with extreme poverty and hardship faced by Malawi’s one million orphans, primarily through health and education programmes.

In 2008, he released the documentary I Am Because We Are, a film documenting the lives of orphans in Malawi, where around 500,000 children have lost their parents to HIV and AIDS.

The film was written, narrated and produced by Madonna herself through her production company Semtex Films.
