The 66-year-old Queen of Pop went on to slam the newly re-elected president for being found liable for sexual abuse in E. Jean Carroll’s 2023 $88.3 million defamation lawsuit, as well as his conviction in 2024 for 34 counts of falsifying business documents.
Madonna – with 53.6 million followers on social media – subtitled her selfie: “Am I trying to figure out why a convicted felon, rapist, fanatic was chosen to lead our country because he’s good for the economy?”
Trump was accused of rape by Carroll in 2023, but a New York jury rejected her claim and found Trump responsible for a lesser degree of sexual abuse.
Madonna was hopeful about becoming the first female president after voting for Kamala Harris in Manhattan on Tuesday, along with 23-year-old daughter Lourdes.
“This one’s for the ladies like [you’re] feeling down,” the twice-divorced mother of six wrote via Instastory.
