It comes after a very excited Madonna took to Instagram to share footage from her tour’s opening night on Saturday.

The Queen of Pop looked sensational as she performed her 1998 hit Nothing Really Matters to open the show.

Madge wore a long dramatic black gown with billowing sleeves and a silver halo-style crown to ensure she could be seen by every single member of the sold-out crowd.

The Papa Don’t Preach hitmaker oozed confidence as she showcased her iconic vocals and impressive dance moves enhanced by big screens and flashing lights.

Madonna captioned the post: ‘Thank you LONDON! Opening night! A night I will never forget’.

While celebrity fan Michelle Visage was quick to reply: ‘CAN’T WAIIIITTTTT FOR DECEMBER’.

Elsewhere in the show, the singer took to the stage with her 17-year-old daughter Chifundo ‘Mercy’ James.

Her daughter played the haunting instrumental of her mother’s iconic hit Bad Girl on a grand piano.

Madonna’s 10-year-old daughter, Estere, also walked down the runway to a mash-up of her mother’s best-known song, Vogue.

Madonna, who has six children, was also brought on stage with Lourdes, 27, who showed off her dance moves.

While the Queen Of Pop brought all the glitz and glamor to the stage and performed many of her biggest hits from her more than 40-year career in her first respective tour, the performance was not without its faults.

The show came to a halt after just the fourth song, which was her hit Burning Up, when technical problems arose with the sound.

Being the consummate pro, the singer-songwriter took charge of the situation and announced that her crew would have to ‘hit the reset button’.

“This is exactly what you don’t want to happen on your opening night, so it wasn’t planned, I’m sorry,” the pop superstar told the fans, according to Metro.

With time to kill, Madonna (born Madonna Louise Ciccone), 65, continued to entertain the audience with stories from her youth, preventing the show from descending into chaos.

She recalled how difficult life had become while playing in her first group, describing her situation as ‘broke and hungry and earning no cash’, but she was still optimistic and could ‘see the future’.

Trying to keep the crowd from getting restless, she enthusiastically asked the thousands present, “Am I imagining it? Oh my God, it’s so good to be back in London.’

The Holiday singer added: ‘I’m pretty surprised I’ve made it this far and I mean that on so many levels. How did I make it this far? Because of you. I’m going to take some credit too.’

The Bay City, Michigan, native recalled battling anorexia just after moving to New York City in 1978 to pursue a career in modern dance, according to Mirror.

It seems that money was scarce during that time, so she decided to find men who could help with her basic daily needs.

When I was broke, I didn’t have money to take baths or showers, so I would actually date men who had showers and bathrooms,’ she confessed to her fans. “I’ll go out with them and if I think they’re cute, I’ll sneak into the chat – so you’re alone and they’ll say yes.”

Once it was made clear the man was in fact living alone, the singer-songwriter would get straight to the point.

“Do you have a bathroom and shower?” she continued during the opening night of The Celebration Tour. ‘And they nodded and looked at me like I was a crazy person. And I would say let’s get dinner.’

She showed her sense of humor and added: ‘Blow jobs for showers! We all have to struggle to make ends meet, right? Do you know what I’m talking about?’

During her storytelling, Madonna also talked about her recent health scare that some thought would force the tour to be canceled.

The Material Girl was rushed to an intensive care unit in June with a ‘severe bacterial infection’ after being found unconscious.

“My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children,” she revealed during her show. “My second thought was that I don’t want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for my tour.”

Elaborating on the situation, she continued: ‘I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the past few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone.’

Ultimately, The Celebration Tour was pushed back, but not canceled.

‘It’s been a crazy year for me and I didn’t think I was going to make it. I forgot five days of my life,” she told the London fans.

‘But the angels protected me and my children were there and my children always save me every time. And if you want to know a secret about how I survived, I thought, ‘I have to survive for them. I have to survive for my children.”

After the technical problems were resolved, Madonna made up for the wait by introducing live versions of her hits Open Your Heart and Holiday.
