World No. 17 Madison Keys earned an easy victory over No. 9 Marketa Vondrousova in their quarterfinal match at the US Open.

Keys came through the first set 6-1 and took a 6-4 win in the second set. She managed to save all nine break points of the game.

The 28-year-old, who is originally from Rock Island, Illinois, has kept hopes alive for an all-American match against No. 4 Coco Gauff.

Since Keys now lives in Orlando, it will also set up a match of Florida residents, as Gauff hails from Delray Beach.

Keys will now be ready for a semifinal against No. 2 Aryna Sabalenka.
