Madeline Kingsbury’s body was found wrapped in a fitted sheet and sealed with Gorilla tape
The body of missing Minnesota mother Madeline Kingsbury was found in a remote highway area, wrapped in a fitted sheet and sealed with Gorilla tape that matched tape found in the home she shared with her ex.
Kingsbury, 26, went missing in late March and her remains were found on June 7 in a remote area near the home where her ex, Adam Fravel, grew up in Mabel.
An indictment against Fravel, 29, stated that the sheet her remains were wrapped in matched a set found in the house she shared with the father of her children.
The ex-boyfriend has since been arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree murder in connection with her disappearance and death.
Kingsbury disappeared after dropping her two children off at nursery and Fravel was immediately suspected of being involved as he was the last to see her alive.

The charges against the father of Kingsbury’s two children indicated that the Gorilla tape used on top of the sheet matched one found at their home.
The color and width were the same, the complaint states.
In their home, gray pillowcases were found on an air mattress that matched the fitted sheet in which Kingsbury was found.
The sheet that came with the pillowcases was nowhere to be found at the time.
The indictment shared other shocking revelations, including the claim that Fravel was “in love” with the Gabby Petito murder case.
He allegedly threatened Kingsbury and told her that if she didn’t “listen” she would end up just like Petito.
According to the complaint, police have video evidence of a person believed to be Fravel who switched the license plate on Kingsbury’s van the day she disappeared.
The video reportedly shows the van exiting the house and driving off with license plates typically attached to a vehicle Fravel is driving.
The van was then caught driving on Highway 43 in the same area where Kingsbury’s body was found two months later.
Police say there was a 45-minute gap in Fravel’s timeline and they believe this was when the ex-boyfriend dumped the body.

The suit also says that the sheet Kingsbury’s remains were wrapped on matched a set found in the house she shared with the father of her children.
Search teams and volunteers searched for the 26-year-old mother of two
Fravel also allegedly abused Kingsbury during their on-again-off-again relationship, which was fueled by jealousy.
At one point, a friend reported seeing Fravel punch Kingsbury in the face during a video call. That friend said Fravel didn’t know he was being watched.
Relatives of the woman said on another occasion that they saw him put his hands around her neck. After that incident, Kingsbury reportedly walked around with red spots.
Friends said she also often covered her neck with sweaters when she was on video calls with others.
In September 2021, Fravel exchanged disturbing messages with Kingsbury saying she would get over a domestic violence incident.
“I really don’t think it’s okay that you put your hand around my neck and pushed me down before the kids before so don’t do it,” Kingsbury wrote.
“You’ll adapt,” Fravel replied.
In addition, the man told investigators that their relationship was not working and that Kingsbury was involved with another person.

Fravel, who is also the father of the Minnesota woman’s children, was the last person to see Kingsbury alive on the morning of March 31.
Fravel made her first appearance in Winona County Court on Friday.
According to the complaint, he has denied involvement in Kingsbury’s death. After his arrest, his bail was set at $1 million.
He has been ordered to appear at all upcoming court hearings, abstain from drugs and alcohol, and not to contact Madeline’s family
Fravel is due to appear in court on July 20.
