Mackenzie Shirilla TikTok on ‘taking drugs and not dying’ before being convicted of boyfriend and boyfriend murder in drugged 100 mph crash

  • Shirilla faces life in prison with a minimum of 15 years before being eligible for parole
  • Before her arrest, she boasted in a TikTok that she was on drugs and didn’t die
  • She had been smoking marijuana and was carrying magic mushrooms when she crashed
  • Her boyfriend and his boyfriend were murdered in what the judge called “mission of death.”

Mackenzie Shirilla bragged about taking drugs and not “dying” in a terrifying TikTok video filmed before she was convicted of murdering her boyfriend and his friend by driving into a building at 100 mph while high of marijuana.

The 19-year-old now faces at least 15 years in prison for murdering her boyfriend Dominic Russo and his friend Davion Flanagan last July in what a judge called a “mission of death.”

She was desperate for murder, the judge and prosecutors said, to end her toxic relationship with Russo.

Mackenzie miraculously survived the crash and, after undergoing multiple surgeries, was charged with murder.

In this video, filmed before going to jail for murdering her boyfriend and his boyfriend by driving into a factory at 100 mph while high on marijuana and magic mushrooms, Mackenzie brags to Shirilla that she can “take a lot of drugs” use and not die’. It is unclear whether she shot the video before or after the July 2022 crash

The terrifying TikTok video spread this week as she was convicted of murder. It’s unclear exactly when she filmed it, but it provides insight into the then 17-year-old’s sense of immortality.

Pouting into the camera as she flutters big false eyelashes, she appears on camera saying, “I’m just one of those girls who can do a lot of drugs and not die.”

Mackenzie’s TikTok account is now private.

She has yet to speak publicly about her conviction, but she looked incredulous when it was shown on Monday.

Mackenzie sobbed and covered her mouth as the judge sentenced her, calling her “literal hell on wheels.”

Her mother, Natalie, tried to tell the court that she succumbed to a condition that caused vertigo.

Her lawyers argued in court that no one would ever know what happened in the car, and suggested that Russo may have grabbed onto the wheel of the car.

Prosecutors told the judge that a black box in the vehicle showed Mackenzie hitting the accelerator to the ground and never attempting to brake.

In the backseat was Davion, Dominic’s boyfriend, who was an innocent “cargo.”

He was just looking for a ride home, his parents said, when Mackenzie crashed the vehicle.

The moment of impact was at 05:30.

The car then sat in a steamy wreck for 45 minutes until a passerby called for help.

Both Davion and Dominic were pronounced dead at the scene, but Mackenzie survived and was taken to hospital.

The evidence presented on the bench at her trial suggested that she deliberately drove the group into the building after driving responsibly until she turned onto the road approaching the factory.

At the time, she was accelerating at 100 mph and did not brake, the prosecutor said.

They also relied on testimony from Dominic’s friends and family who had seen the couple fight in the past and heard Mackenzie threaten him in the past.

Mackenzie’s family insisted the couple were in love and it was an accident.

She will return to court on August 21 to hear her verdict.
