Macaulay Culkin is going viral for his speaking voice while being honoured on Hollywood’s Walk Of Fame as fans say: ‘I was not expecting that’
Home Alone fans are stunned by Macaulay Culkin's voice after hearing it for the first time since he was a child, saying: 'I didn't expect it to sound like this.'
The iconic child actor, 43, was honored on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame in front of family and famous friends in Los Angeles on Friday, where he gave an acceptance speech.
Those in attendance included his on-screen mother from Home Alone, Catherine O'Hara, wife of Disney actress Brenda Song, and their two sons Dakota, two, and Carson, who was born sometime before Christmas 2022.
In an emotional speech, the Kevin McCallister actor praised his wife Brenda, saying: 'You are absolutely everything. You are my champion.”
The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody actress, 35, could be seen in tears as Culkin continued, “You are the only person happier for me today than I am.

“You're not only the best woman I've ever known, you're the best person I've ever known. You have given me my entire purpose. You gave me family.”
He added, “And after the birth of our two boys, you became one of my three favorite people.
The legendary Christmas icon ended his tear-jerking speech with a joke: “And in the spirit of the holidays, I just want to say Merry Christmas, you filthy animals.”
Despite Culkin's moving tribute and the huge achievement of receiving a Walk Of Fame star, some fans were more focused on the sound of his voice.
One wondered: “Macaulay Culkin's voice really sounds like that.”
“This is cute, but are we going to ignore all that, that's his voice.”
“Okay, I'm not being funny, but listen to his voice.

Some viewers were shocked to discover that the child star and his brother, Kieran Culkin, 41, looked uncannily like him.

During the ceremony, O'Hara took the stage during a heartwarming reunion between the actress and her on-screen son.

His on-screen mother, Catherine O'Hara, 69, (pictured) paid a heartfelt tribute to Macaulay, noting that he was a natural acting talent and that his 'perfect' performance made Home Alone a global sensation.

The pair both appeared in the smash hit Home Alone in 1990, as well as its sequel in 1992.
Macaulay played the role of mischievous Kevin, while O'Hara played his perpetually irritated mother Kate.
The Schitt's Creek actress tenderly touched Macaulay's face as she gave a heartfelt speech about the actor – 33 years after they first met.
She said: “Home Alone was, is and always will be a beloved global sensation.
“The reason families around the world can't let a year go by without watching and enjoying Home Alone together is because of Macaulay Culkin.
She labeled his performance as “perfect” and continued: “I know you worked very hard, I know that, but you made acting seem like the most normal thing in the world.”
She shared how the actor brings his “sweet and twisted, yet completely relatable sense of humor to every project he does,” and joked, “It's a sign of intelligence in a child and a key to survival at any age.”
“Macaulay, congratulations. You so deserve your star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.”
She ended, “And thank you for bringing me, your fake mother who left you home alone not once but twice, to share in this happy occasion. I am so proud of you.'
