Luke Littler to face £50,000 showdown with hero Raymond van Barneveld at the World Darts Championship after the Dutch star beat Jim Williams to set up a meeting with the 16-year-old sensation in round four
Teen sensation Luke 'The Nuke' Littler will take on his hero Raymond van Barneveld in the round of 16 of the World Darts Championship.
The 2007 PDC world champion defeated Wales' Jim Williams 4-1 in the third round, setting up a clash with the 16-year-old.
Littler, who came through his third round clash with Matt Campbell on Wednesday to become the youngest player to reach the last 16, spoke of his excitement at the prospect of facing the Dutch veteran.
“It would be incredible to play against Raymond,” Little admitted when asked who he would most like to play against.
“Obviously the crowd has to choose who they want on their side, so I would love to play Raymond, but Jim is also in good form.”
