Luke 'The Nuke' Littler has left darts fans 'stunned' after sensationally beating Rob Cross in the semi-final of the PDC World Darts Championship to progress to the final of the tournament.
The 16-year-old, from Runcorn in Cheshire, will now play against world number 1 Luke Humphries after reaching the final on his debut at the tournament.
Littler, born in 2007, stormed past Brendan Dolan in the quarter-finals to beat the Northern Irishman 5-1 before sensationally beating the 2018 Darts Cross World Champion 6-2 on Tuesday evening.
The teenage sensation would lose the first set 3-2, before fighting back to put Cross on the back foot and claim the next three sets. His opponent would pull one back to go 3-2, but Littler stepped up a gear again, winning the last three exchanges to seal a place in the final.
Littler, who made history by becoming the youngest player ever to qualify for the final, is now just one match away from collecting a check for £500,000 should he win Wednesday's final, having already raised £200,000 had raised in cash.

Meanwhile, he has attracted a new fan base at Alexandra Palace this week, with some even joking by singing 'You have school tomorrow'.
But fans have taken to social media to praise the 16-year-old for reaching the final, while also admitting his stellar performances have left them 'at a loss for words'.
“Luke Littler may have school in the morning but he's teaching all these superstars,” one person wrote.
Another added: “I have no words for what we are seeing from Luke Littler. Tonight and for the past few weeks. He's a kid sweeping aside former champions in his debut #WorldDartsChampionship campaign.”
“Luke Littler…this is getting weird now. 16 years old and on his debut in the final of the World Darts Championship… I can't talk! Unbelievable,” said another.
“The fact that Littler is dismantling a player of Rob Cross' pedigree in his first ever World Championship – in the semi-final is just completely ridiculous. I've been watching this sport for years and I've never seen anything like it.”
Littler turns 17 later this month and completed his GCSEs last year. He has won over audiences across the UK and the world with his brilliant performances and his humility in front of the media.

Littler will face Luke Humphries in the final of the tournament tomorrow after beating Scott Williams 6-0
After upsetting his idol Ramond van Barnaveld on Saturday evening, Littler said: 'It's incredible, beating one of my idols on the biggest stage of them all, I still can't believe it now.'
On reaching the final, he told Sky Sports on Tuesday: 'No words!' he then admitted that Crazy thought I was making a World Cup debut in my final. I was happy to win one match, but I could go all out!'
On his game plan for Wednesday's final, Littler said: “I'll do what I did. Go for a ham and cheese omelet in the morning, then come here for a pizza and then practice! That's what I've been doing every day.”
Humphries, meanwhile, advanced to the final after completing a dominant 6-0 win against Scott Williams.
