Luke Combs sends fans wild with ‘savage’ fantasy football punishment of his rivals at latest concert

Famed country singer Luke Combs sent fans into a frenzy with a “brutal” fantasy football penalty that saw him invite two of his best friends onstage to sing for the stadium crowd.

Combs introduced his two friends in front of Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati as the losers of his fantasy football league, which he enters every year with his best friends from high school.

Due to a scoring problem, there were also losers in the competition, which meant that the duo finished in a shared last place at the end of the season.

Combs invited his two friends to sing a duet on Marc Cohn’s “Walking in Memphis” on Saturday in their “blue suede shoes.”

Footage shows Combs’ two friends taking turns on lead vocals for tens of thousands of country fans.

“Luke is a barbarian,” said one fan on X.

If you win a fantasy football league that can earn you a lot, besides potentially money and a trophy, losing a fantasy football league has become just as daunting.

There are also stricter punishments, such as the well-known example of 24 hours at McDonalds, where the loser gets to shave an hour off his stay in the restaurant for every Big Mac he eats.

Combs declined to say what the penalty would have been if he finished last in the fantasy football league. He said it wouldn’t have hurt him to sing on stage.

Combs said he picked the song “Walking in Memphis” for his friends, even though the concert was in a different city.

You can hear the fans in Paycor Stadium cheering for Combs’ singing friends. It’s nothing like a live microphone in a football stadium.
