Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has signed a 12-month contract extension to keep him at the club until 2024.
Now 37, the Croat remains a key player at the Bernabeu after 23 trophies in 11 years for Los Blancos.

The Croatia captain is not the first veteran Real midfielder to extend his stay at the club, as his team-mate Toni Kroos signs a new one-year contract.
Together, Kroos and Modric made over 900 appearances for the club and formed an iconic trio with Casemrio until his move to Man United last summer.
Former Arsenal man Dani Cabellos has also signed a four-year contract after becoming a fan favorite last season.
Modric will be a key mentor to Real’s exciting young midfielders such as Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelian Tchouameni and new signing Jude Bellingham.
