Luis Enrique has revealed that he still hopes Kylian Mbappe will change his mind and stay at Paris Saint-Germain this summer instead of moving to Real Madrid.
The star striker has been strongly linked with a move to the Bernabeu after telling PSG in February that he will leave the club when his contract expires at the end of June.
Mbappe will announce his next club before Euro 2024, with Real Madrid widely expected to be his destination.
However, Enrique stressed that nothing is set in stone and it is still possible that Mbappe could stay at PSG.
Enrique told Prime Video: “I still hope Kylian changes his mind. He hasn’t said anything yet. He can still change his mind.

Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, Mbappe’s teammate for France, recently appeared to confirm that the striker will join him at the Spanish club.
Speaking to Telefoot, Tchouameni said: ‘The Spaniards are aware of the player that Kylian is, but when they see him every day they will realize the greatness of the player.’
Mbappe responded to the comment by joking that fans in Spain could often see him playing as PSG faced Real Sociedad in the last 16 of the Champions League and would face Barcelona in the quarter-finals, while Atletico Madrid may await in the semi-finals . finals.
