Aston Villa left-back Ludwig Augustinsson will reduce his loan from Sevilla and join Real Mallorca until the end of the season.

Villa has inquired about Chilean international winger Darío Osorio, 19, at the University of Chile.

The talented young Osorio has been international twice with Chile in the absolute category.

Augustinsson joined Villa on loan last year, with the Premier League club having the option of making the deal permanent.

However, the recent acquisition of Alex Moreno from Real Betis has pushed Augustinsson further down the pecking order. Lucas Digne, who is currently out with a shoulder injury, is another option at Villa’s left-back.

In addition to Moreno, Villa also signed winger Jhon Duran from the Chicago Fire during this transfer window.
