Lucy Mecklenburgh dotes on her daughter Lilah during her getaway to Barbados

Lucy Mecklenburgh looked every inch the doting mother as she hugged her young daughter Lilah Rose during a break in Barbados with her family on Sunday.

The former TOWIE star, 31, cradled her 10-month-old baby girl in her arms as she relaxed on vacation with her fiance Ryan Thomas, 38.

The couple, who also share a son, two-year-old Roman, flew to the Caribbean for a half-term break with their two children.

The family is on the island celebrating her father Paul’s 60th birthday, as Lucy documented on her Instagram page over the weekend.

Also featured in the snaps was her younger sister Lydia, 26, as the family gathered at a local restaurant to celebrate the historic occasion.

Earlier in the day, Lucy and Ryan were seen hanging out on the beach while soaking up the sun during their break.

The fitness guru paired her pretty ensemble with a green and blue paisley print swimsuit, while accessorizing with a pair of trendy brown shades.

She wore her short brown locks in a loose, straight style and flaunted a sun-kissed glow, while opting for a no-makeup look.

Lucy carried a straw bag on her shoulder that was embroidered with a large yellow lemon on the front of the elegant item.

In her arms was little Lilah, who was wearing a ruffled yellow bathing suit.

Meanwhile, Ryan, who was barefoot, looked great in a white T-shirt teamed with a pair of blue striped swim shorts and a pair of sunglasses.

Ryan was seen playing on the beach with Roman, who seemed to love running across the sand.

The Results With Lucy founder, who looked sensational on the trip, previously revealed the realities of her post-pregnancy body in a Q&A, saying she struggles to find time to exercise like most people.

Lucy revealed that she had gone up two dress sizes and that her busy life rarely leaves time for exercise, though she has made her peace with that.

During the chat, a follower asked, “Are you back to your pre-pregnancy weight? Exercise? Diet? I don’t feel like myself anymore.”

Lucy agreed, writing: “I understand, so many changes to our bodies so fast that sometimes it can feel like I’m not familiar with my body.”

“I have wider hips, a bigger tummy and breasts, and two dress sizes larger than before Lilah.”

She continued: ‘I’m about a stone heavier than before, but I try not to weigh myself too much. I rarely have time to exercise, but I love postpartum pilates. I try to walk a couple times a week and run after a little kid all day haha.

“Diet-wise, I’ve started trying to eat like I used to as much as possible, mainly for energy and to feel good.”

She concluded: ‘The kitchen in the bathroom helps and quick, simple meals that everyone in the house will eat. I don’t follow a restrictive diet, just balance and variety’.

In August, newborn Lilah was rushed to hospital and put on oxygen after coming down “very badly” with bronchiolitis.

Lucy shared a picture of her daughter in a hospital bed, explaining that she was being fed through a tube while battling a respiratory tract infection, which is common in babies under the age of two.

Lilah contracted bronchiolitis from Lucy and her fiancé Ryan Thomas’ eldest son, two-year-old Roman, who contracted the condition in preschool and suffered from “coughing and choking” before being rushed to hospital.

Lucy also shared a snap while breastfeeding her baby, as she thanked the NHS doctors and nurses for their help.
