Lucy Mecklenburgh dons enjoys a walk with Ryan Thomas and their children in Barbados

Lucy Mecklenburgh and her husband Ryan Thomas enjoyed a family outing with their children Roman and Lilah while on vacation in Barbados on Wednesday.

The family is on the island celebrating her father Paul’s 60th birthday, as Lucy documented on her Instagram page over the weekend.

Former TOWIE star Lucy, 31, looked beaming for the outing when she donned a white shirt over a blue and white floral print swimsuit.

The media personality also wore a pair of gladiator sandals and a white necklace as she pushed her 10-month-old daughter Lilah in her stroller.

Letting her brown locks fall loose to her shoulders, Lucy completed her look with a pair of white sunglasses.

Ryan, 38, also went for a laid-back look, rocking a white T-shirt with matching sneakers and a pair of purple shorts.

The former Coronation Street star showed off his honed physique in the gym when he went shirtless at one point while soaking up the sun.

Lucy previously revealed the realities of her post-pregnancy body in a Q&A session, saying she struggles to find the time to exercise like most people.

The star said she’s gone up two dress sizes and her busy life rarely leaves time for exercise, though she’s made her peace with it.

During the chat, a follower asked, “Are you back to your pre-pregnancy weight? Exercise? Diet? I don’t feel like myself anymore.”

Lucy agreed, writing: “I understand, so many changes to our bodies so fast that sometimes it can feel like I’m unfamiliar with my body.”

“I have wider hips, a bigger tummy and breasts, and two dress sizes larger than before Lilah.”

She continued: ‘I’m about a stone heavier than before, but I try not to weigh myself too much. I rarely have time to exercise, but I love postpartum pilates.

“I try to walk a couple times a week and run after a little kid all day haha.”

“Diet-wise, I’ve started trying to eat like I used to as much as possible, mainly for energy and to feel good.”

She concluded: ‘The kitchen in the bathroom helps and quick, simple meals that everyone in the house will eat. I don’t follow a restrictive diet, just balance and variety’.

In August, newborn Lilah was rushed to hospital and put on oxygen after coming down “very badly” with bronchiolitis.

Lucy shared a picture of her daughter in a hospital bed, explaining that she was being fed through a tube while battling a respiratory tract infection, which is common in babies under the age of two.

Lilah contracted bronchiolitis from her brother Roman, who contracted the condition in preschool and suffered from “coughing and choking” before being rushed to hospital.

Lucy also shared a snap while breastfeeding her baby, as she thanked the NHS doctors and nurses for their help.

Ryan and Lucy announced the news of their daughter Lilah in May of last year on social media along with a sweet black and white snap of the baby’s hand.

They got engaged after two years of dating in 2019, with Lucy sharing a photo of her and Ryan on Italy’s Amalfi Coast along with the caption: “I said YES.”

Ryan, who shares daughter Scarlett, 10, with ex Tina O’Brien, clearly went all-out on the proposal while drinking and dining wonderfully with a romantic al fresco dinner by the sea.
