Lucy Fallon returns to Coronation Street as Bethany Platt after a three-year absence from ITV soap operas
Lucy Fallon is reportedly set to reprise her role as Bethany Platt on Coronation Street three years after she left the soap.
The 27-year-old actress will set foot on the cobblestones of Weatherfield again in the coming months as she films scenes that will air “after Christmas.”
Soap star Lucy’s character Bethany was a regular in Corrie from 2015 to 2020 before Bethany left for a magazine internship in London.
In 2018, Lucy won the Best Female Dramatic Performance award at the British Soap Awards for her portrayal of Bethany in a grooming storyline.

She was destined for great things and everyone was sad to see her go, but the door would always remain open for someone of her caliber and popularity.
Bosses contacted her a few weeks ago about the possibility of coming back, and told her everything they had planned for Bethany if she agreed.
She discussed it with her friend and family because she’s a mom with a baby now. Once they’d talked about childcare and how best to combine it, she could say she’d love to come back.’

Lucy announced the arrival of her baby boy with footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson in February this year.
She revealed the happy news on Instagram, writing at the time: ‘Our beautiful boy. 30/01/2023.’
You could see Lucy rocking her baby in her arms as she sat on the couch at home.
Her partner Ryan snuggled into Lucy as they sat next to each other like proud new parents in the black and white photo.

The ITV soap star celebrated her pregnancy with a lavish baby shower at Liverpool’s Shankly Hotel in December.
She revealed she was expecting a baby boy in an interview with OK! magazinewhere she admitted that Ryan was “convinced” they would welcome a girl.
“Of course we didn’t care, but Ryan was so convinced we were having a girl.
“I had been so sick to begin with and none of my sisters were sick when they had their boys,” she explained to the publication.
