Lucy Fallon has announced the arrival of her baby with her footballer boyfriend Ryan Redson.
The 26-year-old former Coronation Street actress revealed the happy news on Instagram on Sunday while saying: ‘Our beautiful boy. 01/30/2023.’
Lucy announced her pregnancy in September, but admitted that the experience was tinged with anxiety, having sadly suffered a miscarriage earlier that year.
However, Lucy admitted that the tragic loss brought the couple closer and made them realize that they wanted to start a family.
Initially, the actress did not believe she was pregnant again and admitted that she FaceTimed her mother in shock after a positive test result before telling Ryan the happy news.

She also revealed that she is being monitored throughout her pregnancy as she has been classified as “high risk” due to her heart-shaped uterus.
While this wasn’t the cause of her March miscarriage, it’s understandably caused the star concerns.
The ITV soap opera star celebrated her pregnancy with a lavish baby shower at Liverpool’s Shankly Hotel in December.

She revealed that she was expecting a baby in an interview with OK! Magazine, where she admitted that Ryan was “convinced” that they would welcome a girl.
“Obviously, it didn’t bother us in any way, but Ryan was so convinced that we were having a girl.” I was very sick at first and none of my sisters were sick when they were having their children,” he explained to the publication.
Adding that everyone had guessed it was a girl after her 12-week scan, the actress decided not to reveal the gender until after her baby shower, which was decorated in a neutral color scheme.

She also looked radiant in a flowing white gown as she made her 2022 Pride of Britain Awards red carpet debut at London’s Grosvenor House.
Lucy and Preston North End midfielder Ryan became Instagram official in May of last year.
Their romance came after Lucy called things off for good with ex Tom Leech in January 2021.
