Lucy Bronze went down with her knee on Saturday afternoon during the second half of the Women’s Champions League semi-final between Barcelona and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The former Ballon d’Or winner appeared to be suffering from a knee problem after making a routine pass to one of her Barca teammates.

Bronze landed on deck in great pain and was immediately attended to by Barcelona’s medical staff.

The 31-year-old was helped off the field by the club’s physios after 67 minutes and looked devastated as she stumbled towards the tunnel.

Brons later came out of the dressing room again to watch the rest of the second half from the dugout with the rest of the substitutes.
