The luckiest Premium Bond winner ever has taken home a total of £1,019,850 across 288 prizes since buying their first bond in May 2004, Money Mail can reveal.
This includes winning the highly sought after £1 million prize, as well as £10,000 and £1,000 tickets, eight £100 prizes, 45 £50 tickets and 232 wins worth £25, according to a freedom of information request .
One bondholder has had more wins in the same time, with 408 prizes.

However, they totaled £14,325, as they took home a host of small prizes.
This included two £500 prizes, 18 £100 raffle tickets, 73 £50 wins and 315 prizes worth £25.
NS&I raised the price percentage to 3.15 percent in February and again to 3.3 percent for March.
