LSU star Angel Reese joins Memphis Grizzlies’ Ja Morant for her team’s NCAA victory parade as she shares a TikTok video of them dancing to the NBA Youngboy hit
LSU women’s basketball star Angel Reese has been in the spotlight since the Tigers’ national championship victory, most recently partnering Ja Morant.
The Memphis Grizzlies’ headman was seemingly on LSU’s campus in a video posted to Reese’s social media Wednesday.
Both danced to NBA Youngboy’s “Fresh Prince of Utah,” specifically the lyrics “Issa parade inside my city,” which Morant’s daughter recently uttered after the game.
Morant and the Grizzlies were in Louisiana for Wednesday night’s game at the Pelicans – which they lost 138-131 in overtime. Morant did not play in the loss, with a sore left hip keeping him sidelined.
During Wednesday’s championship parade, Reese couldn’t resist making the “you can’t see me” gesture she used in the closing stages of last Sunday’s national championship vs. Iowa.

Unlike Clark, Reese used the gesture repeatedly throughout the series, following her down the field in an attempt to goad Clark—unlike the Naismith Player of the Year one-off play in the Final Four win against South Carolina.
Named the NCAA Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player, Reese has taken her tenacity and big personality from the court to social media.
After LSU’s victory, First Lady Jill Biden came up with the idea of also inviting Iowa runners-up to the White House — a tradition usually reserved for the winners only.
Reese called that idea a “joke” and said she would not accept an apology from the First Lady.
“Once that happened, we [the team] go to the group chat, like, what are we doing? Are you trying to go? … We called a lot and that’s why she wants to come over and apologize,” Reese said on I Am Athlete’s “Paper Route” show.
“I’m not going to lie to you because I don’t accept her apology… I said what I said… You felt like she [Iowa] should have come because of sportsmanship, they can have those floodlights. We’re going to the Obamas. We see Michelle, we see Barack.’
LSU’s athletic department has since said they “definitely accept” the invitation to visit the Bidens, according to CNN.
Reese also revealed that Jill Biden would visit LSU’s locker room before the game, but the team shunned her.
“She would come to our locker room and to the Iowa locker room. I don’t know if she talked to them. I don’t know if she did,” Reese said.
“But we said we didn’t want that. We didn’t want her to come into the locker room.’
