A male LSU cheerleader is drawing heat online after appearing to push an Ole Miss football player in the immediate aftermath of a touchdown.
LSU earned a huge 29-26 victory over the Rebels on Saturday, and it seems it wasn’t just the fans in the stands who felt the rage during the action.
With less than two minutes to play in the game at Tiger Stadium, Mason Taylor broke through the Ole Miss defense and scored the touchdown that ultimately sealed the victory for his team.
However, as he reached the end zone, Ole Miss defensive end Trey Washington tried to push him out of bounds before he could score.
Amid the watching crowd lining the end zone was a male cheerleader who seemed to take exception to Washington’s pressure and decided to give him one back.

In a bizarre moment captured by ESPN’s TV cameras, the young cheerleader is seen shoving Washington and pointing at him as the LSU celebrations begin.
The cheerleader has received a lot of attention on social media, with some slamming him for being involved in the on-field action.
One wrote: ‘Cheerleader attack’, while another added that he had ‘no respect’.
Others, meanwhile, saw the funny side and joked, “Dude was ready for fun.”
LSU’s blowout win over Ole Miss moves them to 5-1 on the year, and the team currently sits eighth in the AP Top 25 rankings.
One of the school’s biggest names was also present at the competition on Saturday evening: gymnast Olivia Dunne.

The Sports Illustrated cover star sat in the stands next to her boyfriend, Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes.
The couple met at LSU and joined each other on a whirlwind trip in 2024, but still spent a lot of time together in Louisiana.
The fifth-year gymnast and Skenes, a baseball star at the school before heading to the MLB, have been spending some time together on campus recently now that the latter’s season was over.
