The LSU Tigers advanced to the NCAA Women’s National Championship game after defeating the Virginia Tech Hokies 79-72 in a thrilling second half comeback.
Senior guard Alexis Morris led the way for the Tigers with 27 points, while star forward Angel Reese posted a double-double with 24 points and 12 rebounds.
This will mark LSU’s first appearance in the National Championship game.
