Love Triangle 2023: Contestant details the heartbreaking reason why he never dated anyone until he was in his twenties
The Love Triangle Season 2 contestant revealed the reason why he didn’t start dating until he was in his 20s.
Alan Wallace, a 32-year-old electrician from Victoria, is often mistaken for an ‘F boy’ by potential suitors.
But the charismatic and successful businessman hasn’t had much luck on the dating scene, and he insists these prejudices couldn’t be further from the truth.
“He put me in the f*cking boy category before I said anything,” he told the cameras.
“But that’s just not me.”

During the second episode of Stan’s original series, Alan was paired with two women — Jessica, 30, and Katie, 25 — whom he had never met before.
After two days of chatting with the ladies and getting to know them, he decided to choose Jess as his date.
Alan said he chose Jess because of her “spicy” personality and their “undeniable” chemistry.

“I chose Jess over Katie because I feel like I had more of a spark from day one,” he told producers.
“I’m excited to see Jess in the flesh and see if there’s a physical spark to follow her firecracker.”
But things took a turn for the worse when Alan told producers Jess wasn’t his type and he was “a bit disappointed”.
“I usually dated blondes. But I’ve dated a brunette before,” Alan told his girlfriend, who is a brunette.

Jess tried to laugh this statement off by replying, “It’s all right. I used to be blonde.’
Meanwhile, the airline’s customer service rep accused Alan of being an ‘F boy’ but said she was just his type.
“I’m going for the dark features, (tattoos), just the freaking look,” she laughed.
The comment prompted an uproar from Alan, who revealed he was “sensitive” when people assumed he was only looking for girls for sex and no other relationship.

“It’s not like that,” Jess said.
“There’s a lot more to me and that’s what people don’t understand.” Because I don’t get to that point with girls.’
Sparky then opened up completely about his dating, revealing that he was diagnosed with the disease in his teens and didn’t start dating until his 20s.
“When I was younger, I had blood cancer growing up. I was only 15, almost 16 years old. I lost my hair two years ago. I had three years of treatment,” he said.
“It was a dark time in my life and I was just a shell of myself.” I lost two… three years of my life.
‘The first date I went on, I was 21.’

Love Triangle sees lovelorn contestants choose a love match from just two options after hooking up with both without seeing what they look like.
While one match embodies their burning desires, the other reflects their deeper, more fulfilling romantic needs.
Couples must spend 48 hours getting to know each other via text only before making a final decision. Pictures or selfies are not allowed.
However, in a shocking twist, the rejected person will make a surprise return later in the season and form a risky love triangle.
The radical relationship format encourages brave singles to throw away all the conventions and trappings of modern dating created by app-based hookups.
After just two days of hooking up, the singles must make a life-changing choice between two matches before meeting just one on a blind date.
Stan’s director of content Cailah Scobie said: ‘The first season of Love Triangle proved to be a huge hit with audiences and critics.’
“We look forward to introducing audiences to another unforgettable cast of singles in 2023.”
The announcement comes on the heels of a brutal season one finale that saw three bachelorettes leave without partners and, of course, a cheating scandal.
The first two episodes of “Love Triangle” Season 2 premiered on October 5, followed by an all-new episode every Thursday, only on Apartment.
