Sharon Gaffka has given fans a glimpse into her love life, claiming that she recently dated someone with a public profile.
The 27-year-old former Love Island star, who appeared on the seventh series of the ITV2 dating show in 2021, took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday to answer some questions from fans.
When asked if she would ever date someone in the public eye, she revealed that she would, but that she would prefer to keep her options open in the future.
She explained, “This is the ONLY dating question I’m going to answer. Because I’m a little over getting them.
“I’ve only dated one person in public view in the last two years, it lasted for the better part of five minutes, so it’s not even known outside of my inner circle.”

‘I would like a relationship that was known about, but was not known.
‘I’m not dating an ATM anyway. I have no interest in it.
Along with her reply, Sharon shared a photo of herself sitting outside a cafe enjoying a cup of coffee.
She could be seen wearing a gray miniskirt which she paired with a white blouse and knee-high black leather boots.
The reality star wore a black and white faux fur coat over her shoulders and accessorized with a pair of dark sunglasses.
Sharon and her ex Hugo Hammond, 26, were embroiled in a spat on social media when she accused him of ‘inappropriate touching’ after they met on the same Love Island series.

Hugo denied the allegations and released a written statement at the time via his TikTok story, calling his comments “outrageous and just plain untrue.”

Speaking to TikTok star Grace Barry on her podcast, Sharon detailed a night she had with Hugo and some friends, which led to the feud.
Asked by Grace whether or not she was close to Hugo, Sharon replied, “So, she was and then I cut him off very abruptly.” One of the islanders had a birthday so we all went out and my friends had come from the north for it. They all went to a really gross sports bar.
She then detailed that instead of going out with Hugo and the islanders, she and her friends went to a club they had been invited to for free.
He continued: “Hugo texted me and I had no signal because the club was underground, when I got back to the hotel I had been texting him and he called me a basic bitch for going to this club. I would never do it.” I’ve been to it in my life, I didn’t know it had that reputation and I didn’t pay a penny so I didn’t care, I had a great time.
‘And then I Facetimed him because he seemed pretty drunk, and he made jokes about getting bugged. And then his friend texted me and said, “You’ve upset Hugo,” so I was like, “What are you? 5? Why are your friends texting me?”
“Yeah, so I haven’t spoken to him since, he’s been trying to text me and I don’t think he knows what he’s done,” Sharon explained, as Grace inquired, “Don’t you think he remembers?”
Denial: Denying the allegations, Hugo released a written statement at the time via his TikTok story, calling his comments “outrageous and just plain untrue.”

She then explained that after the Facetime, Hugo sent her a message, to which she responded by telling him to fuck off.
Sharon added that “other things are going on, like inappropriate touching, that he probably doesn’t remember either.”
Hugo wrote a lengthy statement in retaliation, calling the comment about inappropriate touching “wild” and explained: “The wild comment made about inappropriate touching is outrageous and just plain untrue, saying something like this is very hurtful and paints an unfair picture of my”. .
“You can’t just throw out that kind of language,” Hugo added.
He also strongly denied making jokes about drinking alcohol, noting that “it’s not who I am.”
Fight back: In response to the video, Hugo wrote a lengthy retaliatory statement, calling the comment about inappropriate touching “savage.”
Writing: ‘First of all Spiking is not a theme I use in my jokes nor do I find it funny, it’s awful to be honest. I wouldn’t joke about someone being bugged, it’s just not who I am, friend or not.
He also expressed disappointment that the dispute is taking place on social media, admitting he is “quite upset” that Sharon “knows what that can do.”

Sharon was finally kicked off the island on day 19 of the show, while Hugo made it on day 38, with neither islander managing to make lasting connections in the villa.
