Love Island’s Shaq Muhammad broke down in tears on Thursday night’s episode after an explosive movie night saw him argue with his partner Tanya Manhenga.

The star had seen Tanya, 23, kiss Nigerian-Irish bombshell Martin Akinola during one of the clips, before breaking up later in the night.

Viewers watched as the couple descended into an all-powerful row, prompting Shaq to leave the villa where he was comforted by his friend Tom Clare.

He became angry after seeing the footage and Tanya was unapologetic, which later led to a confrontation between the pair.

Shaq said, ‘So it was just a kiss, yeah, and he went to kiss you? So are we lying now?

But Tanya stood her ground, saying, “If you’re looking for something to get mad about, this isn’t it.”

The confrontation led to Shaq later telling the boys, “I can’t lie, I feel like she’s a liar, I feel like she’s full of shit.”

Tanya got irritated and told Olivia that she didn’t know what else to do and that she felt she had to prove her love for Shaq.

After Tanya ignored Shaq in the kitchen, he left the villa and later cried while talking to his friend Tom.

Twitter was full of irate commenters after the fight, angered by Tanya’s behavior.

One person wrote: ‘Tanya is actually the WORST person in #loveisland. The biggest gaslighter and hypocrite. Shaq deserves so much better.

Another added: ‘Tanya doesn’t deserve Shaq’, while a third said: ‘Tanya continues to prove that she is too emotionally IMMATURE to be in a relationship.

The emotional manipulation he uses on Shaq to continually justify his bad behavior is actually CRAZY… honestly all these girls left can be written off. Well, except Sanam.

Meanwhile, a separate person wrote: ‘Not Tanya saying old shaq is back and she doesn’t like him as soon as he shows human emotions… genuine gaslighting! It’s not an old version of him, he’s just injured and reacting to your damn it!’

It comes after fans were left in stitches over Martin’s reaction to his time with Tanya in Casa Amor being shown on the big screen.

The pair struck up a romance during the last test of the show, before she returned to the main villa and patched things up with her partner Shaq Muhammad.

But as the latter saw firsthand what really happened between Tanya and Martin when he wasn’t around, viewers couldn’t help but notice how much the senior software engineer enjoyed the showdown.

Eating popcorn with a cheeky smile on his face, he seemed almost delighted to see things get started, as Shaq and Tanya bickered over the videos.

The boys and girls were separated into two tables for the night as they were given pub quiz questions to answer, with the team that answered correctly getting to pick a time in the village to look back.

When the village was asked how many times a person has sex in their life, on average, the boys searched for the closest answer.

They chose to watch a movie called: ‘Catch Me If You Tan’, which showed clips of Tanya talking behind Shaq’s back in the main villa, before showing her chatting with Martin at Casa Amor.

Even showing the couple as they shared a steamy kiss in bed, the clip left Tanya with her head in her hands as Shaq started to blush.

But while others began to worry, Martin seemed to remain unfazed, watching with a smile as the drama unfolded.

The latter was furious after Tanya had previously claimed that she and Martin only shared a ‘quick kiss’, despite the clip showing a very passionate kiss in bed.

After watching, Shaq yelled at Tanya, ‘So it was just a kiss, yeah? Did he come in to kiss you? Is that what we’re doing? Are we lying now?

“We kissed, I didn’t say it was just a kiss,” Tanya argued, while her partner confirmed it: “You said Martin kissed you and it was just a little.”
