Love Island’s Scott van-der-Sluis is entering the US version of the show just WEEKS after leaving the villa… despite Catherine Agbaje ‘reunion’

Scott van-der-Sluis is going to be quite a surprise to the Love Island USA contestants as he gears up to make a grand entrance into the villa.

The 22-year-old footballer appeared on the UK version of Love Island in the summer of 2023 and will rejoin the show just weeks after the end of his first stint on the programme.

His second attempt at finding romance on Love Island comes despite rumors of reconciliation with co-star Catherine Agbaje in recent days.

Scott is about to enter the villa during Friday’s episode when Kassy Castillo receives a text telling her to go meet the mysterious new bombshell outside the villa.

A teaser clip for the upcoming episodes shows Kassy receiving a text that says, “Kassy, ​​come to the front of the villa for a secret date, don’t tell anyone.”

While Kassy doesn’t know who the new bombshell is, Scott steps onto the screen and makes his amazing entrance on Love Island for the second time this summer.

He says: ‘I’m Scott and I’m from Wales in the UK. I was in Love Island UK, I didn’t find love so I thought why not take it internationally.’

Kassy then walks out and immediately recognizes Scott, having seen him during the first few weeks of Love Island UK, which aired before the US version kicked off in July.

She says, ‘Wait, stop. You’re from the UK one?’, before the shocking trailer comes to an end.

Fans couldn’t help but share their shock at Scott’s arrival at the villa just weeks after he was dumped from the British show at the end of July.

His second attempt at finding love comes despite sparking speculation that he had rekindled his romance with former flame and co-star Catherine.

The pair failed to quell romantic rumors as they both appeared on the Love Island Reunion show earlier this month.

They sent fans wild with their chemistry and refused to deny they were a couple, but things don’t seem to have worked out between the pair with Scott’s return to Love Island.

Catherine and Scott were a solid couple before this year’s Casa Amor, but she bounced back from her time without Scott with bombshell Elom Ahlijah-Wilson, forcing Scott to hold back tears and their union in tatters.

However, after Catherine and Elom decided to split up and remain friends shortly after returning to the UK, Scott and Catherine are said to have slipped into each other’s DMs.

The pair were questioned by Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson about the status of their relationship during Love Island: The Reunion this weekend, while Elom sat uncomfortably next to them.

Scott said, “We’re fine with it. We were friends before Catherine left the villa.’

However, he refused to give much more away and tried to hide his smile when Sam asked him for more information.
