Love Island finalist Samie Elishi shared a tearful video on Friday discussing a recent cancer scare on her YouTube channel.
The brunette beauty, 22, told her followers that fans saw a lump on her neck that doctors revealed was ‘grade 3’, meaning they can’t tell if it’s cancerous or not.
Samie said, “It’s a two-inch nodule on my thyroid,” before revealing she was waiting for surgery where doctors can take a biopsy.
She admitted that she hadn’t posted an elaborate statement about her recent split from beau Tom Clare due to her ongoing health issues.
Saying to the camera, ‘It’s rough, me and Tom broke up. It ended on a good note. No one has done anything bad to each other, there is still a lot of love there.”

“It just didn’t work on the outside and we agreed on most things.
‘There’s no bad blood there, me and Tom. I would never say a bad word about him and he wouldn’t say a bad word about me either.’
Further: “We just weren’t working on the outside. I feel like when you get out of the villa you have so much pressure and so many other things to worry about that play a big role in a relationship.”

She then tearfully discussed her upcoming surgery, saying, “Basically what they’re doing is they’re cutting your neck… I shouldn’t be mad because I’m so thankful that people have been messaging and I’ve caught it now.” I am so grateful’.
Before adding, “But of course it’s still very scary. I’m a young girl, I realize how ordinary it is now. I even saw Demi Jones go through it.”
Fellow reality star Demi, 24, announced she was cancer-free in December 2021, just seven months after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer.

Samie finally broke her silence about her split on Thursday, a day after her ex confirmed the news on his Instagram stories, where he admitted he was “gutted” that their relationship has ended.
And after receiving numerous messages about their split, Sami spoke about the breakup on Thursday when she shared that she “really didn’t want to write an Instagram story about this.”
She took to her own social media and wrote, “I really didn’t want to write an Instagram story about this, but the comments and messages I’ve been getting since Tom posted his story yesterday just aren’t fair.
‘Soon I will speak about everything, but at the moment the time is not right (which I will also explain).
Samie concluded: ‘Thanks for the sweet messages, they don’t go unnoticed.’
It came after footballer Tom, 23, took to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday to break his silence following reports that the pair had gone their separate ways.
It was revealed on Monday that Tom and real estate agent Samie had split just a month after Love Island finished filming.
Tom responded to the reports and took to social media to confirm their split, but insisted they are still on “good terms,” saying he has “nothing but love” for Samie.
The reality TV star, who met Samie on the 2023 Love Island winter series, gave no reason for their breakup but admitted he is “gutted” that their relationship has ended.

Late last week, Samie admitted she’d gone on Love Island for fame rather than love, making the very candid revelation while chatting with Chloe Burrows, 27, on her new YouTube series Chloe vs The World.
Appearing on Chloe’s show with her then-boyfriend Tom, Samie wasn’t shy about admitting that she went on Love Island for “exposure” rather than love.
Former island resident Chloe asked Samie and Tom, “Did you go to Love Island for love or did you go for fame?”
To which Samie candidly replied, “I’m going to be honest, mine was second.” I didn’t expect to meet anyone.’
News of Samie and Tom’s breakup was first reported on Monday, when it was claimed the pair had called off their romance.
