Patsy Field shares a heartwarming moment with Munveer Jabbal as she speaks about her disability for the first time on Love Island tonight.
The Islander, 29, confided in the tech recruiter, 30, during an emotional conversation in which she shared her fears about potential suitors finding her condition off-putting.
After Munveer complimented Patsy’s beauty, she explained that there was one detail in her life that she hadn’t shared yet and confided the personal revelation to her co-star.
Patsy was born with Erb’s palsy, a disability that affects muscle function in her right arm and also means it is shorter.
She has previously opened up about how she was supposed to be born via caesarean section, but doctors made the crucial mistake of allowing her to give birth naturally, resulting in the defect, which she has had to overcome all her life.

Speaking to Munveer on Wednesday night’s show, Patsy said: ‘There’s one big thing I wanted to bring up. I haven’t really talked to anyone about it.
‘I actually have a disability. I haven’t said anything to anyone yet because it’s hard to bring it up. It’s a handicap in my arm… I have no strength, I can’t lift anything above shoulder height.
“Sometimes you think, I don’t know, if you have something different, you don’t know if everyone will find it sexy at all. But being different is cool.’
In support of Patsy, Munveer replied, “Absolutely. I really appreciate you sharing that with me.’
Patsy and Munveer get to know each other better on tonight’s episode of the ITV2 series, which also promises to be a dramatic episode.
In a preview clip, Harriett Blackmore dances for bombshell Joey Essex after he demands to see her moves and the pair sneak off to the Hideaway to enjoy some alone time – despite being linked to different people.
This year, islanders who aren’t in pairs can retreat to the Hideaway, the villa’s only ‘private’ area, to explore possible connections, with Harriett wasting no time in showing Joey she’s interested to pursue him further.
However, during Tuesday night’s episode, Joey opted to team up with Liverpool make-up artist Samantha Kenny as trouble was already brewing in paradise.
