Love Island’s Paige Turley sends a thinly veiled message after splitting from Finley Tapp

Paige Turley has sent a thinly veiled message following her recent split from Finley Tapp.

Just three weeks ago it emerged that the Scottish singer, 25, and her former Recruitment Consultant ex, 23, had ended their three-year romance.

And on Sunday, Paige took to her Instagram Stories, where she appeared to be asking for time away from Finley with a not-so-cryptic post.

While visiting the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, she decided to share a photo she took of a tote bag with the words, “I need my space.”

Paige is currently spending time in the US with Made In Chelsea’s Olivia Bentley, who recently suggested the two were out for fun when she posted a cheeky Instagram photo of the duo, warning, “Lock up your dads.”

It comes just three weeks after the couple – who won Love Island’s first-ever Winter series in South Africa in 2020 – ended their three-year relationship.

The duo are said to have realized they were ‘not forever’, according to claims, and reportedly had already moved out of their shared home in Manchester, with Paige returning to Scotland while Finn spent time travelling.

The news came from The sunwith insiders claiming, “Paige and Finn had a really good run, but they’re still super young and decided it wasn’t forever in the end.”

Adding that they live separately, they continued, “Paige is spending some time in Scotland figuring out what she wants to do next.”

MailOnline reached out to representatives for Paige and Finn for comment at the time.

Last month, Paige shared snaps from Scotland when she attended a horse racing event at Ayr Racecourse – with it unclear whether she had just visited or moved.

While Finn shares snaps from West Hollywood as he spends time visiting the US.

It is over? The winners of Winter Love Island 2020 have reportedly split after three years together

Reports: The Love Island stars, who won South Africa’s first-ever Winter series in 2020, are said to have realized they ‘weren’t forever’

They enjoyed a skiing holiday together in March, with the last grid Instagram post of the pair together on March 20 from Finn.

While Paige still likes the photos of the former soccer player from his trip to the US, it may not suggest the end.

The duo have kept pictures with each other on their respective social media and also seem to still be following each other.

They met in South Africa on the very first episode of Love Island’s winter series, won the show and collected a cash prize of £50,000.

But interrupted by the spread of Covid-19, they were plunged into life upon leaving the villa and spent time in Paige’s homeland of West Lothian.

They later moved to Manchester and have lived in the city ever since, sharing a lavish apartment together.

While it put a strain on many relationships, Paige and Finn explained that the Covid-19 restrictions really benefited them during a chat with MailOnline earlier this year.

“Covid helped us because we were able to spend that time together without being pulled from pillar to post. We had a crazy three weeks coming out for lockdown and the quality time you spend together is quite limited,” Finn shared.

Continued: “So I think some good advice is to try and make sure that everything going on around you doesn’t interfere with getting that quality time whoever you date.”
