Love Island’s Paige Thorne says her ex-boyfriend Adam Collard ‘ghosted me’ after cheating claims

Paige Thorne claimed her ex-boyfriend Adam Collard literally ‘ghosted’ her after allegations of cheating emerged.

The Love Island finalist, 25, split from her co-star, 26, earlier this month after videos appeared of Adam with other women.

Despite the couple trying to make the “long-distance thing” work, Adam was not supposed to be spotted in McDonald’s after a night out with a woman.

Shortly after the first incident, he was pictured partying with another girl in Ibiza and then headed to Bali, where he stopped responding to Paige.

The former paramedic told cosmopolitan that she knew their relationship was over after the personal trainer “literally ghosted” me.

She said, “He didn’t text me back. He would let me read all day. My own boyfriend literally ghosted me.

‘From that moment on I was like, “We’re done. This is more than a joke now.” He replied, “I didn’t want it to go like this, but at least we both know where we stand.”

Paige went on to say that the pair “made the long-haul thing work pretty well,” despite the rumours.

She explained how they ‘made the time’ and ‘take turns visiting each other’, so ‘there were no problems’.

Paige, who became official with Adam after she left the Love Island villa, told the publication that “he told me nothing happened” and “get over it.”

The reality star continued: ‘Why should I believe everything everyone says if he treated me a certain way? I thought, “We can overlook this. We’ll get through this. No one else needs to discover the video. I still want to be with you.”

After the clip of Adam at McDonald’s with his arms around another woman speculating that he had cheated, things exploded for the couple.

Paige has since deleted all traces of Adam from her social media account and has unfollowed him.

Adam later confirmed that he and Paige are no longer together, telling The Sun, “We’re not together. Things happen. But I mean, she’s a great girl.’

Paige has since broken her silence on the shock split in an appearance on the Saving Grace podcast.

She confirmed last week: ‘I’m single – live my best life. No, I’m kidding, it’s really been a s**t time.’

Opening up about the cheating allegations, Paige said Adam was “not friends” with the woman and there was further video evidence.

She said, “It’s not just that video. There are other videos that people don’t know of from different people, on the same night, in different locations.

“At first I was like, no, you know what? It’s just one arm. I get that people get flirty. There’s nothing to it. If I’m at the club and a guy puts his arm around me, is that cheating? No.

“And then those other videos came out and I was like, ooh. Ooh, I can’t justify this.’

Paige claimed that the videos show Adam and women in the VIP restrooms, ruling out any chance of the couple reconciling.

She continued, ‘I mean, will you? Would you go back with someone like that? The videos speak for themselves. The one everyone has seen and the one I’ve only seen.’

About the claims, Adam told The Sun: “I think she knows the truth about all that, and to be honest, I don’t care about anyone’s opinion, just hers.

“I will always have a soft spot in my heart for her. She’s great, so if she knows all that.’
