Love Island’s Millie Court reveals engagement plans with boyfriend Liam Reardon as she opens up on how they make a long-distance relationship work
Millie Court has admitted she is waiting for a proposal from her boyfriend Liam Reardon and is ready to take their relationship to the next level.
The reality stars won the seventh series of Love Island in 2021 dated for a year before briefly breaking up in July 2022. Since then, they have reconciled and are going from strength to strength.
Now Millie, 27, has openly ‘hinted’ that she is ready for Liam, 24, to pop the question and has already ‘showed’ him the style of engagement ring she would like.
She told MailOnline exclusively: ‘He’s the one in charge of proposing and I gave a little hint and showed him a ring I’d like.
“Not that it means he will do it anytime soon, but I thought he knew better now so that if he decides to do that in the future, he will know which ring I like.”

‘He also knows what I would like in terms of proposal, so where it would be and so on.’
Millie went on to say that the couple are much happier in their relationship since they “did long distance.”
She said: ‘It’s amazing, he lives in Wales now and I’m in Essex so we do long distance but it actually works really well.
‘We’ve managed to get that time together where I come to Wales for a week, he comes to Essex, and it’s almost like it works because in the time we have apart we can continue to work and just concentrate . on that.
“Then when we’re together, we really take care of our relationship and actually spend quality time together.”
The reality star admitted the pair ‘struggled’ with balancing a relationship and fame after first coming off Love Island, but despite being apart for a short time they ‘always knew they wanted to be together’.
As the face of VO5’s Summer Festival Edit, Millie told MailOnline: ‘I just think we’ve gotten used to life as it is now.
“I think, like many couples, it’s a struggle to navigate this new life, but also a relationship.

Millie went on to say that the couple are much happier in their relationship since they were ‘doing long distance’ between her home in Essex and Liam’s in Wales.
‘So having that time apart meant we were able to really come to terms with this new lifestyle and everything that comes with it.
‘When we got back together it was like we’d gotten used to it and we were in a much more comfortable position in terms of life and career, and it meant we could fully concentrate on our relationship.
‘We always wanted to be together, we knew that. Only the timing was difficult and this time it is much better.’
Since Love Island, Millie has headlined a number of fashion and beauty campaigns, including recently dressing up as Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Dua Lipa for a campaign as the new face of VO5’s Summer Festival Edit.
Speaking about creating the iconic pop star’s look and working in the industry, she said: ‘I love everything about the fashion and beauty industry, so it’s really fun to be able to express my style through collaborations like VO5.
‘I’ve never worn a wig before, so that was a lot of fun. I love styling my hair anyway, so it was really nice to be able to try on wigs in different colors.
‘When Dua Lipa first showed off that blonde and dark hairstyle, I absolutely loved it and I was so close to actually dying my hair. This was also before Love Island, but I think because I had interviews I thought I would. Better not, just in case they didn’t like it and it might be a bit too brutal for them.’
