Love Island’s Liberty Poole is praised for showing off a ‘real’ body as she poses in a bikini

Liberty Poole declared ‘I don’t have a six pack and I don’t care’ as she posed for a candid bikini photo on Tuesday night.

The Love Island star, 23, was praised by fans for showing off a ‘normal’ body as she enjoyed a Mediterranean cruise with co-star Kaz Kamwi, 28.

The TV personality showed off her incredible curves in black bikini bottoms and a cropped gray sweatshirt, clutching her belly as she posed on a boat deck.

Liberty styled her long brunette locks in loose waves and opted for full makeup as she worked her magic on camera.

The ITV2 star wrote alongside the images: “Hands up if you don’t have a six pack and you just don’t care.”

Fans rushed to the comment section to applaud Liberty for her confident post.

One wrote: “Absolutely beautiful, stunning and natural.. more influences should take it into account, and let kids of today know that looking like a filter is not normal, you go girl.”

A second wrote, “So I thought, ‘She looks gorgeous.’ And I realized that I have such a similar body. Maybe I look good too. Thanks for the reality check!’

Someone else added, “I love this. Just got back from vacation and felt so self conscious with my body as I get older, it’s harder to feel young and slim and look as slim as it used to be.

“It can be difficult to accept the changes with our bodies. I love seeing real unfiltered women on social media, it really helps us make curvy women feel more normal. xX.’

“I wish there were more women like you on Instagram! Maybe then we would all learn to love ourselves instead of comparing ourselves to unrealistic images,” another wrote.

Another follower said, “More celebs should make this normal.”

Liberty’s Love Island friends Lucinda Strafford, Sharon Gaffka, Tanyel Revan and Kaz were also among those who showed their support for the reality star.

The post comes after Liberty recently revealed she’s gained weight since appearing on the ITVBe show, but is learning to accept it.

She posted a series of images showing her weight change since the show, revealing that she felt the need to edit her photos – despite being a size 6/8 – to the point where she no longer recognized herself.

Liberty wrote: ‘Please appreciate this is really scary for me to post… The first picture is of me last week in a size 40 Ibiza, confident with my curves.

“Slide 2 is me, 8 months before going on love island. I was around size 6-8. The photo on the left is unedited, the photo on the right is what I posted on my Instagram. I couldn’t find the exact image as this was two and a half years ago.’

She continued, “It’s scary to think I didn’t see how severely I edited my photos from getting my waist down to this size – and don’t get me wrong, I love a tan – but the fact that I felt the need to work it on my body and completely change my skin tone, I look back and think it’s so unhealthy.

“My point is, it’s really not about how skinny we are or how tall we are or what we look like etc. It’s about self-acceptance.”

The reality personality, who appeared on series seven of Love Island, recently confessed that she was “tempted” to edit a bikini snap to “lift her natural breasts and reduce her bloat,” but decided when she wanted to show off her normal body.

Liberty said, “To this day, I feel like I stand out and be a little different, but I want to encourage girls to embrace themselves and be a positive role model on social media.”

She has since set up a mini IGTV series titled ‘Second Skin’ which allows her followers to spread love and positivity and talk about the issues they are concerned about.
