Love Island twins Jess and Eve Gale have criticized ITV bosses for telling them to stop sending exes to the villa.
Their comments came after TOWIE star Joey Essex’s ex Grace Jackson entered the villa in a bombshell, sparking an instant connection and seeing Samantha Kenny dumped in the latest recoupling.
Jess and Eve said the format of the show is similar to Ex On The Beach and believe the show should not have contestants who already have history.
Speak with The sunJess said: ‘Going in, it’s the worst thing that can happen if there’s already a bomb coming in and they’ve added history – especially with Samantha, she was disadvantaged and one step behind.’
While Eve added: ‘I’ve seen a lot of comments saying they’ve ruined the format by copying Ex On The Beach… I think they’re doing it to spice it up a bit, but it really feels like Ex On The Beach vibes .

During Friday’s episode, Grace told Nicole Samuel: ‘So we met in Ibiza last year and it’s actually funny because he’s not my type at all. We had a bit of a holiday romance. It continued when we got back home.

He said: ‘I’m looking for something serious. I only step into something if I am sure it will work.
‘With you and me, I had the feeling that the only thing standing in the way was the long distance. Other than the long distance, I felt like we would have gone further.
“Depending on what happens to me and you, we can make everything work. You weren’t willing to move to Essex and I wasn’t willing to move to Manchester.’
Grace said: ‘I actually want to move to London and am planning to. Anyway, regardless of that situation. So that would work better.’ But it’s not just Joey and Grace who know each other on the outside, new stunner Matilda Draper also has history with Ronnie Vint, having previously dated his best friend.
