Last year the star, who is currently single, started freezing her eggs at King’s Fertility in London. At the beginning of this year she did a second round.
Speaking to MailOnline, India said: ‘I’m 33 now and I’m not with anyone. And one day I would really like to start a family.
‘The first time I did it I found it very difficult emotionally, much more difficult than I expected.
“I think it brings up a lot of feelings of, ‘Why do I have to do this? Why am I not in a relationship?’ It does shed some light on those aspects. Yes, I found that very difficult emotionally.’
‘The second time I did it I felt much more confident and it was almost like I was taking control of my fertility.’
More and more celebrities have opted for the procedure, including Kourtney Kardashian and Rita Ora.

India finished in third place on Love Island 2019 with Ovie Soko, but the couple split in October that year, with India saying there are ‘no hard feelings’.
India, who shared the hospital at the time and was aware of it on social media, added that the entire process was “intense and uncomfortable.”
She continued, “The hormones are pretty intense. You should inject every day for about two weeks. Your body, your ovaries, you are very bloated.
‘Then you have to have the procedure to remove them, which is done under anesthesia. Obviously, when you recover from that, it’s quite painful and uncomfortable afterwards, so it’s probably a good month of not feeling like yourself.
‘It’s quite draining emotionally and physically. Like you’d probably want to tell the people around you that you’re doing it, so then you have that support.”
About the outcome, India went on to say, “The first time I did it, I only got four eggs, and I was really hoping I would get more. When I did it the second time, I was much more relaxed about it. I was probably in a slightly better place and then I got 10.
“I think it’s really important to focus on your mental health at the same time.”
