Viewers call out Love Island’s Haris when loved-up videos with a former influencer are discovered on TikTok after her bold claims that she’s “never been in a relationship.”
Love Island’s Haris Namani has already been called “disrespectful” by viewers who tuned in to watch Monday’s launch episode.
The winter series, starring new host Maya Jama, kicked off in South Africa with the 20-year-old TV salesman boldly declaring he’s “never been in a relationship.”
But eagle-eyed fans took to Twitter to call out Haris after discovering beloved videos his ex-girlfriend Courtney Hodgson had posted on TikTok.

During her introductory video, she said, “I’ve never had butterflies and I’ve never fallen in love,” before dismissing single women whose feet were larger than a size five.
When asked by Maya if he’s “a couple type,” he replied, “I’ve never been in a relationship, so it’s hard for me.”
On Twitter, a fan uploaded a compilation of videos of Haris with his influential ex.

Courtney raged, “We were at Winter Wonderland just six weeks ago with my family.”
In a follow-up comment, the furious social media star added: “The biggest player ever, he dumped me for a TV show and I called him from the moment he dumped me.”
Asked how he would know when he had found the “one”, Haris said before entering the villa: “The girls I’ve had in the past, I’ve never come out of my shell with the love part.”
He added: “I mean I’ve been nice to the girls, that’s not a problem, but I’ve never really had that feeling.”
“But obviously, on the show, if I’m with a girl for nine weeks, eventually I can come out of my shell a little bit more.
