Love Island’s Faye Winter thanked fans for their support after she opened up about her ‘goofy’ lip filler following the shock of seeing herself on the show.

The 27-year-old reality star appeared on This Morning alongside Dr. Amiee Vyas on Thursday to talk to Holly and Phil about dissolving their filler and the importance of having treatments carried out by medical professionals.

And since that interview, he has thanked his fanbase by posting directly to his 1.2 million followers on Instagram to share his gratitude for their kind words.

She wrote: ‘Darlings, thank you all so much for the support and love you have shown me over the last few days, talking about something that had so many opinions and is such a taboo subject was something I questioned doing now I’m so glad I did. done.

“Having people constantly comment on your appearance requires adjustment and I never felt like I was making the right decision, but one thing I’ve learned and want everyone to keep in mind is that your body is exactly that… yours!

“The choices you make are completely up to you and if you want to make adjustments to help with your confidence, who is anyone else to judge you for that?

“I really just want to stress the importance of making sure you do everything cosmetic safely.

She explained how the botox she had three months before the show’s promotional sessions left her with droopy eyelids and such “pressure” on her forehead that it made her feel like she was “constantly frowning.”

“This all happened when I was doing my promo photos for Love Island and I remember feeling very self-conscious about how I looked,” Faye said.

‘I went to my last audition with a bandage on my face. I cried every time I looked in the mirror, and I didn’t really know if I was going to make the show because of how horrible I felt.

“That was the moment I said I would never go to someone who doesn’t have a medical background. I have learned that they want the best for you. If someone says ‘no’, take their advice.’

During her interview on This Morning this week, Faye admitted that her mum and dad had said that her puffed-up pout made her look ‘silly’ before making the changes.

And he urged any of his followers considering facial ‘touch-ups’ to seek out a medical professional rather than just a beauty therapist.

“I saw it like this for the first time instead of just looking in the mirror. My mom and dad told me they look a bit big and silly.

And speaking of dissolving her fillers, she said: “Instantly I could see them go down, my lips were smaller again, but my lips were very wrinkled.

‘I had to put 0.5 ml back on because my lips no longer had elasticity. But this is the look I always wanted. This is the look I thought I had.

‘I only needed 0.5 – I needed a professional with a medical background.’

“The doctor was saying that they need to be medically qualified to do this because they should not be considered beauty treatments, they are medical treatments.”
