‘Now there’s a dispute over money owed’: Love Island’s Ekin-Su Culculoglu is ‘suing clothing brand Oh Polly amid row of £1m contracts’
Ekin-Su Culculoglu is taking legal action against clothing brand Oh Polly after it was dropped less than six months after signing the “biggest clothing deal in Love Island history”.
The 28-year-old reality star, who won the series with her boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti, 27, last summer, signed a £1 million contract after the ITV show.
He released just one 16-piece collection that the brand now sells at discounted prices.
An informant said Sun: ‘Both the brand and Ekin were disappointed and now there is a dispute over the money owed on the lucrative contract.’
MailOnline contacted Ekin-Su’s spokesperson for comment.

A source told MailOnline at the time that the partnership, which saw Ekin-Su launch her first collection last October followed by a massive launch party, was “not working out” and the Dancing On Ice star’s range struggled. to attract the customer of Oh Polly. base.

In August, Ekin closed a £1 million deal with Oh Polly, which became “the biggest clothing deal in Love Island history”.
She launched a collection with the label and celebrated her deal with a huge party at London’s One Marylebone attended by the likes of Sam Thompson, Zara McDermott, Antigoni Buxton and many of her Love Island castmates.
After amassing more than 3.2 million followers on Instagram, Ekin has also partnered with beauty brands B Perfect Cosmetics and Beauty Works, as well as becoming the Islander of the 2022 series to star in Dancing On Ice.

Ekin became the third contestant to be dropped from the ITV show after causing controversy with her debut performance.
The Turkish reality star wowed viewers with her seductive rendition of Britney Spears’ song Toxic, in which she recreated her famous moment in the villa by crawling on her hands and knees across the terrace while wearing a see-through diamond gown.
More than 100 fans complained to OfCom, and Judge Oti Mabuse later defended Ekin and a woman’s right to be sexy.

Despite the pressures on their relationship as the winning couple of Love Island last year, Ekin-Su and Davide have defied the odds and are going from strength to strength.
In an interview to celebrate Valentine’s Day, Ekin-Su explained that her fans often doubt the authenticity of their romance if they forget to post on social media, but they prefer to keep some things private.
She told Fabulous magazine: ‘Our relationship is between two people, not the world. We don’t need to prove to anyone that we are real.
“I think the less you show on social media, the healthier the relationship will be.”
