Love Island’s Dami Hope has come under fire for allegedly filming himself driving and appearing to take both hands off the wheel.

The reality star, 27, reportedly recently took to his Instagram Stories to share a video of herself behind the wheel of his moving Mercedes Benz.

He has been labeled ‘stupid’ for the ‘dangerous’ stunt by road safety activists, who accuse him of ‘breaking the law’.

In the video, Dami can be seen holding his phone in his left hand while his right sits on the steering wheel as his car moves down a road, according to The sun.

Filming the road ahead, he takes his right hand off the wheel and places it on the sunroof, before filming from the roof of his car.

Dami, who appeared on Love Island last summer, reportedly took both hands off the wheel to film from the roof of his car.

He captioned the video: ‘Summer soon land.’

The influencer has been heavily criticized by road safety campaigns for the stunt, with someone condemning him for his “stupid” behaviour.

Dr John Scruby, of the Drunk Driving Campaign, told The Sun: ‘This seems to be yet another example of so-called ‘celebrities’ thinking they are above the law.

“And how stupid are they not only to break the basic laws in traffic law, but to film themselves doing it?”

He went on to say that such videos promote bad behavior among young people learning to drive while calling on police to take action.

“They may want to come and talk to some victims of similar behavior and explain to them why they think it’s okay to flaunt the law in such a blatant way,” he added.

In the UK, drivers are not allowed to hold or use a phone, tablet or other device while driving or riding a motorcycle. They are not allowed to use any device while driving for any reason, including texting, calling or taking photos and videos.

With the help of his management team, Dami decorated a hotel room with a series of turquoise balloons and several bouquets of white roses.

In the corner atop a chaise longue were several bags of gifts for the birthday girl — including pieces from couture brands Louis Vuitton and Gucci.

The microbiologist gushed about Indiyah in the caption, writing, “Happy birthday dear, thank you for a logical love.
