Love Island’s ex-boyfriend, Charlotte Sumner, is revealed to be a convicted felon on the run as it is alleged she “called him three days before entering the villa”
Love Island bosses come under scrutiny over how they choose contestants for the show after it was discovered that Charlotte Sumner has romantic ties to a convicted criminal on the run from the police.
The dental assistant, 30, who burst into the villa last Sunday and was voted out on Friday, also worked as a dominatrix before meeting ex Danial Jones, 25, who was jailed for brawling and is now wanted for traffic offences.
Charlotte told ITV producers and her fellow islanders that she has been single since December and wanted to find a husband.
However, a source reports that The mirror Charlotte was “very quiet with Daniel for the past month,” speaking to him just before she left for the villa in Mallorca.
They said, “Charlotte has been in love with Daniel since early 2020.

Charlotte last shared an Instagram photo of her and Daniel in December standing by a Christmas tree.
Last summer, the couple enjoyed a lavish getaway to Dubai together and in May, Charlotte was spotted laughing on his bed with two dogs.
Since these were posted, the bombshell has changed her Instagram handle to her full name of cls.xx and removed all traces of Daniel.
Charlotte met Daniel after he was released from prison.
He was jailed in December 2019 for brawling after a brawl outside a lap dance club in Southampton.
In March 2021, he failed to show up to court to be charged with dangerous driving and driving while disqualified.

Dorset Police issued a warrant for his arrest and put him on their wanted list last year.
Charlotte has issued a statement amid the backlash.
She said, “It wouldn’t be for me to comment on my ex’s circumstances.
“But as for our relationship, we broke up before I signed on to the show. I was single when I entered the Villa and now I am single.’
Love Island participants are DBS checked before entering the villa.
