Love Island’s Andrew Le Page admits he ‘don’t care about fame’ and wouldn’t mind returning to his day job after finding love on the dating show

He catapulted to fame earlier this year after finishing fourth alongside girlfriend Tasha Ghouri on Love Island.

But Andrew Le Page has revealed that making money from fame is not on his radar as he went on the show to find love – and was successful.

The former real estate agent, who worked in Dubai before joining the show, admitted he wouldn’t mind going back to a day job and still has goals to work in real estate.

In a question-and-answer video for his new YouTube channel, the star explained that despite many contestants entering the show for fame, he was only looking for love.

When a fan wondered if he felt pressure to make money after the villa, Andrew replied: ‘I don’t really get much pressure, I’m quite a relaxed guy. I went to the show and I know it’s probably hard for a lot of people to believe, but I went to the show to find love.

“It wasn’t like a job for me or anything. If I go back to a normal real estate job, I’ll be pretty happy about that.

“Eventually I have a girlfriend that I adore and that was the goal so there is no pressure to make money. I went for love and that’s what I got,” he continued.

Andrew also describes his process of getting to Love Island, revealing that he signed up for the show – rather than being approached.

He and Tasha have grown stronger since they left the villa and have sparked a slew of A-list events and collaborations.

But Andrew keeps his dreams of fame and still hopes to follow in the footsteps of both his parents, who are property developers.

Speaking about his dream caretaker, he shared: ‘My dream career would be real estate development, I grew up watching my parents doing real estate development.

“Just seeing their lifestyle would allow them to be at home and work flexible schedules and that’s what I want. When I went in a normal 9-5 I was like “oh I don’t like this”. So since I’ve seen my family do it, that would be the dream.’
