Insight: Love Island’s Amy Hart has revealed what girls do when they get their period in the villa, while revealing other behind-the-scenes secrets from the show on Saturday.
“I personally put my pill packs together because I didn’t want to get a period while I was there and the doctor said, ‘Yeah, that’s not going to work,’ and I was like, ‘Yes, it will.’ And it worked… until it stopped function.
‘But yeah, keep going.’
Amy captioned the video: “I understand everyone is different and they would compromise I’m sure I was just talking about my experience and meant we weren’t banished.”
It also gave an idea of how much they are allowed to drink while in the villa.
She explained: ‘It’s one drink on a normal night and then two drinks if it’s a long night.
‘Many of us don’t end up drinking because what’s the point of having a glass?
“Some nights we’d say ‘we want to get drunk’ if it’s been a stressful day or whatever. But when there are massive fights I’m always like ‘imagine that with a little bit of alcohol’ so I didn’t really care and besides, I didn’t have hangover, which was good.”

A back-to-back position is where the baby’s head is down, but the back of the head and back are against the spine.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Thursday, Amy gave fans the latest on her pregnancy.
She said: ‘The baby is not breech. Baby’s head down but back to back.

“Please don’t send me a bunch of back-to-back job horror stories because I’m approaching it with a positive mindset.”
‘How painful can it be?
‘People come back for seconds, thirds, quarters. So yeah, please don’t burst my bubble.
“But yeah, I’m just trying to turn the baby, but right now I can feel a thing, so I’m thinking I hope it turned.”
It came after Amy hit back at trolls who accused her of editing her pregnancy photos as she counted down the days to welcoming her first child.

Amy took to her Instagram Stories on Monday to reveal that she had been accused of “airbrushing” a set of baby bump pictures.
Amy had shared a series of stunning snaps from a recent photo shoot showing her cradling her growing baby bump as she celebrated 37 weeks pregnant.
But she took to her Stories just hours after sharing the glowing images to reveal that she had been accused of ‘airbrushing’ her face.
The troll wrote: “It’s a shame you got airbrushed as it’s not necessary and they should be beautiful candid photos.”
Expectant mother: The TV personality, who starred in the 2019 series of the hit ITV2 show, is expecting her first child with boyfriend Sam Rason.
Amy was quick to respond to the claims, insisting that she did not touch up her images or put any filters on them, saying they were just the results of a “beautifully lit study.”
But Amy admitted that she, too, thought her photos might have been edited when she first received them, before reaching out and seeing the “texture of her skin.”
She wrote: ‘I knew this would happen as soon as they were sent to me. Because my first thought was ooh, my face has been edited out. But I got closer and I saw the lines on my forehead and the texture of the skin and I was like oh, okay!
“@Sorchamakeupartist literally makes my face look like it has a filter on it and it was obviously shot in a beautifully lit studio.”
