‘He’s so lucky to have so many people looking after him’: Love Island’s Amy Hart reveals she had her newborn son Stanley checked out by doctors after fan concerns.

Amy Hart revealed that she had her newborn son Stanley checked out by doctors after concerned fans sent her messages.

The former Love Island star, 30, explained that some of her followers had been concerned about the ‘blue tint’ around the corners of his mouth.

I had previously shared a photo. of him in his Moses basket on his Instagram and followers expressed concern about his slightly darker lips.

Sharing an update to her Instagram Story on Thursday, Amy said Stanley was “so lucky” to have so many people looking out for him, adding that he was “fine.”

Amy wrote: “Lots of you messaged last night about the blue tint around Stanley’s mouth in the video of him in his Moses basket.”

She continued: ‘Many said it could be trapped wind, some said it could be cyanosis which could have been more serious.

‘We had it checked and everything was fine. He is very lucky to have so many people looking after him, so thank you.

Cyanosis occurs when there is not enough oxygen in the blood or when blood circulation is poor.

It can be caused by a serious lung problem, such as asthma or pneumonia, or airway problems, such as choking or croup, and even heart problems, such as heart failure or congenital heart disease.

Amy welcomed her first child, Stanley, with boyfriend Sam Rason earlier this month.

The couple, who have been together for a year, raved about the newborn, with Amy saying they were both “so in love”.

After announcing her birth, she wrote: ‘Well… 4 days of contractions at home (which everyone told us were braxton hicks… they weren’t), 4 very short hours in the delivery room and 5 long days at the hospital afterwards, we’re home with our dream baby!

I was born at 3:31am on 3/3/23 weighing 8lbs with the most beautiful head of hair (Amy would put up with 9 months of reflux again) and we are so in love. Proper introductions to come, but now we are home safe and sound.

Parents: Amy welcomed her first child, Stanley, with boyfriend Sam Rason earlier this month.

‘Thank you to everyone who sent their well wishes. We really appreciate it in the last few days. [here’s a few delivery room snaps, can’t wait to show you his beautiful, non post birth swollen face!’

She also shared a sweet snap of Sam holding their bundle of joy as he did skin to skin with him. 

Messages of congratulations flooded in from the likes of fellow Love Island alum Olivia Attwood, Shaughna Phillips and Liberty Poole. 

Amy announced she was expecting her first child with boyfriend Sam on an episode of Loose Women back in August 2022.
