Love Island’s Aaron Waters Responds To Accusations Against Him From Former Co-Star Courtney Stubbs
Love Island’s Aaron Waters has defended himself against the shocking allegations his former co-star Courtney Stubbs made about him.
The couple were together for a short period on the third season of Love Island Australia in 2021, and after he appeared on the recent winter series Love Island UK, Courtney made some damning claims about him.
In a video she posted to TikTok, Courtney said her experience with Aaron on the show left her wanting to “cry.”
She gets very emotional when she tells her followers how he “disrespected” her during their time on the show together, claiming he embarrassed her and made fun of her cystic acne.
However, since leaving the Love Island UK villa in South Africa, he has spoken out about the claims, saying it never happened and he is not a thug.

Courtney got really emotional when she told her followers about how Aaron ‘disrespected’ her during their time together on the show.
Aaron has even claimed that ITV producers said they would back up his claim, however no official statement from the station has been released.
In the video, Courtney said: ‘[Aaron] he went to Love Island UK and the first thing he wanted to do on his promotion was drag me.
“He intimidated me, he belittled me, he shamed me for my skin, he shamed me for my body. He constantly told me to fuck off [and] he shut the whole show down and turned his personal vendetta against me to make sure all men felt the same way he felt about me.
Speaking to the Where’s Your Head At podcast with Anna McEvoy and Matt Zukowski, Aaron claimed that he never bullied his former co-star and never commented on her body or skin.
“The video frustrated me because I didn’t do those things, we just didn’t get along, but I never bullied you,” she said.
‘Do you know what a bully is? The definition of a stalker is not not getting along with someone.
Aaron has spoken out about the claims, saying it never happened and he’s not a stalker.
Courtney said that while they were at Love Island Australian he shamed her about her body.
“To say in my interview that she was my least favorite is not dragging you through the mud, it’s me being honest and getting asked questions about my journey and who I joined up with, it’s not dragging someone through the mud or bullying.
“We just don’t get along, not everyone gets along with everyone, so it was like… what the hell?”
The reality star said she repeated her preferences while on the show, such as wanting “a girly girl” and someone who “goes to the gym and takes care of herself.”
Co-host Anna then asked Aaron if perhaps because of these comments, Courtney felt that he was upsetting her and that the whole situation is a “miscommunication”.
However, he did not agree.
“I wouldn’t call it a miscommunication,” he said.
“I had arguments with Courtney on the show, we never saw eye to eye, that’s Love Island, you argue with people.”
‘But, it’s my preferences, I still want a girl who takes care of herself and goes to the gym, but I never told her that. [I like a girl with clean skin] I would never have said that I don’t like a girl because of her skin.

The 25-year-old claimed that if he had said those things, he would have been kicked off the show.
“I didn’t say those things there, ITV wouldn’t have allowed it, you get three warnings and I didn’t get one,” he said.
‘If you make a derogatory comment, you walk away, so none of that happened.
“I spoke to someone at the top of Australia’s love island and his jaw dropped, he said, ‘You can use ITV as a reference because we never saw it happen.'”
