Love Island viewers slam Ron for ‘manipulative’ behavior after ‘surrender’ chat with Casey

Love Island viewers criticized Ron Hall on Monday night after he had a “manipulative” talk with Casey.

This comes after Lana Jenkins finally ended her love triangle and chose Casey O’Gorman in a surprising reconciliation.

But after the election, Ron Hall refused to chat with Lana, instead turning to Casey.

In what viewers called “reverse psychology”, Ron later warned Casey that she “had a good thing” and treated Lana well.

But on Twitter as the episode aired, viewers labeled Ron’s behavior “manipulative” and questioned why he was “just being nice now.”

One fan wrote: ‘Ron is using reverse psychology and is giving MASSIVE red flags.’

Another said: ‘Why does Ron talk to Casey like he’s Lana’s dad?’

‘Red flag that Ron is talking to Casey before talking to Lana… You’re not her dad hahaha,’ another agreed.

Another viewer described the conversation as “delivery talk” and also agreed that it was “manipulative”.

Despite snubbing Lana, Ron insisted that the “book is closed” with his former love interest, Lana.

Now back in a friendly pairing with Tanyel Revan, the 25-year-old financial adviser headed out into the garden to talk about how he’s feeling during Monday’s episode.

Ron said, ‘That book is closed, I’m going to let them be happy. When you talk to her just tell her it’s okay, I don’t need to talk to her.
