Love Island viewers praise Lana after she chose Casey over Ron
Love Island viewers joined in praising Lana Jenkins on Sunday’s episode when she stunned the town by choosing Casey O’Gorman over Ron Hall in the new union.
Lana has had mixed feelings between Ron and Casey and admitted that she was “torn” between the two.
However, Ron has been paired with Tanyel for the past two reconciliations and has been accused by other islanders of cheating on Lana after being turned on by newcomer Samie Elishi.
During the dramatic reunion, Lana surprised many viewers when she decided to “go with her gut” and chose Casey.
Explaining his reasons, he said, “I’ve decided to join this guy because he’s kind, funny and makes me smile.”

Viewers quickly took to Twitter to react to the moment, writing: “Yeah Lana wipe that smug look off Ron’s face.”
Another added: ‘Yeah Lana! I didn’t think she had it in her,” while a third said, “Yes, praise the lord, Lana is smart.”
A fourth user added: “Lana, you’ve redeemed yourself my friend,” while a fifth said: “Lana chose Casey, finally Ron got a taste of his own medicine.”
There was more drama for Lana and Ron during Friday’s episode when Samie exposed their secret conversations.
Despite stating that Lana was his priority, Ron continued to chat with the other girls in the village, causing Lana to become wary of their relationship.
However, Lana was chosen by Aaron Waters in the last match and the Casey bombshell caught his eye after he arrived at the villa.

Eager to win back Lana’s affections, Ron vowed to focus on her and competed with Casey to make her breakfast.
But, when Lana started to open up to the idea of giving Ron a chance on Friday’s episode, Samie suggested that she might be hiding her true feelings from Lana.
Lana said: ‘I’m on completely different stages with Casey and Ron, it’s hard to rule that out, but am I being…?’
Samie replied, ‘Lana, he’s a flirt, he’s a real flirt,’ but Tanya told her, ‘Lana, no.’
Beloved: Lana previously talked to Casey and he told her, “I won’t need to fuck with you to realize what I have with you if it makes you feel any better.”
Safe: Lana said about the fact that Ron (pictured) wasn’t at risk of being dumped in the previous union: “I was glad when they called your name.”
Sensing there was a problem, Lana asked, ‘Why, what are you telling me?’
Speaking of Ron, Samie replied, “I think he’s just messing everyone’s heads up.” She is trying to keep everyone happy.
Lana asked Samie, ‘Is he still trying to keep options with you?’
Samie responded, “He was very clever with what he said and how he said it.”
He then said that Ron had insisted that he and Samie had the same spark that he had with Lana.
Samie added that Ron had said that he wanted to get to know her more if things went sour with Lana, insisting, “I think he’s just as confused as everyone else.”
Viewers quickly took to Twitter to praise Samie for being honest and exposing Ron as a ‘player’.
